Fall Retreat: Delectus
MINI-CLASSES
A Biblical Walk Through THE MASS
Based on the revised translation of the Mass, this five-part program takes participants on an exciting tour of the Liturgy as it explores the biblical roots of the words and gestures we experience at Mass and explains their profound significance. See, perhaps for the first time, why we say what we say and do what we do every week at Mass. The words and gestures will be seen in a new light, giving new life to the liturgical experience.

A QUICK JOURNEY THROUGH THE BIBLE
This eight-part program provides an excellent introduction to
The Bible Timeline learning system as well as a meaningful
overview of salvation history. Jeff Cavins briefly covers the same
information taught in The Bible Timeline seminar in a series of
eight, half-hour talks that are complemented by group discussion
questions, useful maps and charts, and brief assignments for home
study. This is a great way to “get your feet wet” and learn how to
begin authentic Catholic Bible study.
EUCHARIST
This is a three- part lesson on the Eucharist. Fr. Barron offers inspiring
insights into the mystery of Christ's presence in our lives and the centrality
of the Eucharist as an important part of that presence. So many believers
do not understand the mystery of the Eucharist, which Vatican II said is
the “source and summit of the Christian life.” This fresh look at the
Eucharist brings to light its reality as sacred meal, the sacrifice
necessary for communion with God and the real presence of Christ.
