Liturgical Ministries

Students are invited to participate as ministers at Mass in the following capacities:

• Lector: Proclaim the 1^st and 2^nd readings of the Mass, and also the Responsorial Psalm if a cantor is not present at the Mass.

• Sacristan: Prepare the worship space for its celebrations ranging from the cleaning of the church and its furnishings to cleaning of the vessels used in the liturgies. 

• Hospitality: Greeter, Welcome and Announcements at Mass

• Musician: Instrumental

• Cantor: Lead the congregation in the hymns, the sung parts of the Mass and the Responsorial Psalm.

• Prayer Leader: Lead the Rosary/Divine Mercy Chaplet prior to Mass

• Petitions Reader: Lead the Prayers of the Faithful
